Welcome to the online enrollment process for Norbeck Montessori’s Summer Camp program in Rockville, Maryland! We are so excited to have your child join us for a summer of friendship, learning, water play, group activities, arts and crafts, sports, games, and so much more. Rockville and DC-area toddlers and children ages two to six will have the best summer ever, filled with engaging age-appropriate activities with a new theme each week! With play-based learning with themes from “Under the Sea” to “A Bug’s Life” and more, the Summer Montessori Program gives your child the unique opportunity to continue their love of learning throughout the summer!

Summer Camp Application

Summer Camp Application Process

The process of applying for the summer camp takes approximately 10 minutes.
Please completely fill out each section of the application and click the final Submit button so that we will receive and save your information.
After the final step, you will be asked to pay a $25 application fee. A $200 deposit will be collected and applied to your final week of summer camp. All charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you’re planning to enroll two or more children, each child must have a separate application.

Application Notes:

Submitting an application does not secure your children’s placement. Placement is on a first-come basis, depending on the availability.
Know that the information you give to us is secure. The entire application is secured with an SSL Certificate. We make sure to optimize security for the safety of you and your children.

Both of our children went to Norbeck Montessori starting in the 2 year old class and then graduating from the kindergarten class. Norbeck really helped them thrive academically, develop emotionally and grow socially. We’re so glad we kept both children there all the way till kindergarten. They graduated from Norbeck as confident and emotionally strong with a strong academic foundation in math,  reading and writing with enthusiasm and curiosity for art, creativity, music, science and geography. It was a very positive  environment with highly experienced teachers focusing on the overall development of the children. The head of the school, Melissa Matthews, does an outstanding job managing the school and the teachers ensure that the kids are not just on par with but are also excelling beyond expectations in several elements. Discipline and kindness towards others are strongly encouraged and the children really have a lot of fun while learning. When we were looking for a daycare or preschool where to send our 3 year old back then, we did some research and went to different places and realize this was the only one where you could see the kids and the teachers happy and having a great time (remember that's the environment you want your kids to grow in). So we decided for Norbeck and that was the best decision ever! Our son had the best experience during his 4 years there. We even kept him in the Kindergarten program (AMAZING). He learned so much and grew emotionally and socially as well. Great foundation and such a loving atmosphere for the kids. I could not recommend a better place. And BTW did I said he learned reading by 4 years and has started 1st grade knowing addition, subtraction and multiplication? Yep that's how great this place is :)

And, the lessons they do on a daily basis are so fun and educational at the same time. This is my daughter's second year and every day I am more and more amazed about how much she is learning. She is only 4 years old and she is able to read, write and count to 100. The activities that the school coordinates through the year nurtures a sense of community/family, events include Halloween parade, Thanksgiving feast, Christmas song festival and much more! She loves her school, teachers and friends. I highly recommend this school.
